Thank you to everyone who came out to Irving Plaza Friday night for the 2010 Hip Hop Karaoke Championship.
Thanks to Peter Rosenberg, Buckshot and Big Daddy Kane for their humor, astuteness and insight.
Thanks to Vtech, Allhiphop and Metromix for helping making this thing happen.
And most importantly, thank you to the 12 competitors for their tireless practice and courage to rip it in front of over 1,000 people.
But there could only be one winner. Congratulations to Jessica for taking the crown with "Scenario," "Doo Wop" and "My Adidas."

Thanks to the organizers for a top-notch show! What a great experience from the regionals up through the finals. There's really nothing like performing for a crowd of 900 people. I have to admit, getting a taste of it makes me a bit envious of those who are blessed to do that for a living. but thanks to HHK for providing a platform for us to live out that dream, even if for a few moments. til the next one . . .

I have to second what Santiago is saying. I feel really lucky to have been a part of this and to continue to be a part of it. All the organizers did a great job and I consider my fellow competitors new friends that I'm really looking forward to seeing and performing with at other HHK events. You ALL spit crazy fire! So much talent and so much love for the music in one place is so transcendent. It's obvious to everyone who takes part, whether it be onstage or off, that something special is happening in that room. Thanks again for welcoming me. Peace.
1st off, Congrats to all the competitors and especially Jessica. Everyone who took that stage deserved to be there and showed why. From a fans standpoint it was an AMAZING show. 2nd, Thanks to Josh, Wex, and JNew for putting together an unbelievable event. Like Santiago and Jessica said you guys put together much more then a hip hop show. Last but not least, the judges...Buck, Rosenberg, and Kane were great and having legends like that say such great things about my friends was a good feeling. Again thanks, and congrats and can't wait to see everyone soon. When's the next show?!? Peace

i think the next one is going to be in march for the annual biggie tribute night. not sure where yet or the exact date. working on it tho!
This radio is dope. My phone aka my mp3 player is connected and I'm listening to Brazilian stations. F*cking bonkers.

But yo for real this experience was one of the best in my life. I'm glad so many of the fam were in the building. Shouts to Axiom for the amazing assist. Josh, Wex and J. yall put together something that will go down in history. Remember that. MUCH BETTER than the first one.
