more details on the 3rd annual biggie smalls tribute night:
we're giving away $100 cash to the best performance of a biggie song. we're giving away $50 cash to the almost best performance of a biggie song. we're giving away some other goodies to the "yea, that was pretty tight, but not the best two" performances of a biggie song.
it's at southpaw. which is super fresh because it'll be first time we've done the biggie tribute IN brooklyn. which to me, is... well... super fresh.
doors and first come, first served signup are at 9:30pm. diggedy aka dj album cuts is going to spin at doors. then dj wex (that's me) will spin after the show for all of you "you can't go home, but you can't stay here" types. love ya'll.
it's actually right around the corner. just a couple weeks away. based on the show we had last friday, i'm really amped for this one. there's something about southpaw.

You shouldn't be so disrespectful, it's not nice and it doesn't reflect well on your upbringing.
Do you have to perform a Biggie song on Friday? And even if not, is it one of those nights where no one will feel you if you don't perform Biggie? Nothing against Biggie but I'm just better at other artists/songs.

You don't have to perform a Biggie song, and no one will hold anything against you at all if you do a non-Biggie song..
We like to break it up so there's a mix the whole night...
