Weekend At Diggedy's - Volume 28
Here's the deal...
I'm going to be away from a computer all day..
So.. I've got zero time to post any songs..
But.... I thought this might be a good opportunity for anyone out there who wants to share some tracks with me (and the rest of the us)...
So, feel free to hit us up with a song or two each in the blog posts..
Upload it to zshare or whatever, and lets see what obscure songs you've got that you'd like to expose us to.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.
Should be a doozy....

WEAK.
Weak, BUT democratic, so no harm done.
Can't believe I'm going to miss tomorrow night. Maybe I'll find some way to be there in spirit...
1.
U-God, Inspectah Deck, & Street Life: "Semi-Automatic: Full Rap Metal Jacket".
This track is from the High School High soundtrack. I didn't see High School High, but I doubt that a B-grade Jon Lovitz blaxploitation joke jalopy is as bangin' as this uptempo Wu joint. I love this song -- it's just straight-ahead Wu supremacy, by three of the less flashy Wu MC's. Their styles in this era really did bring to mind images like swords, darts, guillotines, and other sharp cutting-n'-piercing devices.
ACQUIRE IT!

OK, I am at work. . . so I am somewhat limited in my music library. Not what I would call obscure, but not stuff you hear everyday, either. Here it goes:
Cash Money Click w/ Mic Geronimo "For My Click"
http://www.zshare.net/download/3187960906c65b/
-Not the "Bling Bling" tatooed knuckleheads we associate Cash Money with now. . . this is the crew that Mic Geronimo put on shortly after his "Shit is Real" success. Features a young Ja Rule for those who still care about that clown. I always thought Geronimo was kinda nice.
Original Flavor "When I Make It"
http://www.zshare.net/download/3188056abd637e/
-Most people know OrigFlav from "Can I Get Open" which featured a young Jay-Z. This is off of their first album. I liked this album, and this is one of the better songs from that release.
Divine Styler feat. Scheme Team "Ain't Sayin' Nothin'"
http://www.zshare.net/download/318811513e62cd/
-Divine Styler is a rather well known freestyler, but this is a track I remember from the YO! MTV Raps days. I used to record that show, and watch the videos over and over again. I remember this video having a lot of crazy dance moves that I tried to emulate back in the day. Grade School dances were not ready for the kid. . .
Hope you enjoy. . . see you Saturday!
excellent work in diggedy's absence, fellas.
i am especially appreciative of k-dot providing links that go directly to the download page. thank you.
mr. diggedy - i hope that you are taking notes.
Cam'ron feat. DMX "Pull It"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/31974960da42d5/
Unfortunately, this never made Cam's first album due to sample clearing issues. I had to acquire this on a white label vinyl through a connect I had at the label. I think this track might have made "Confessions of Fire" a little more worth it. Just listen to the hunger in both their voices.
